sponsorship & advertising
MCAS Iwakuni is located in western Japan, roughly an hour southwest of Hiroshima City. It is the home of nearly 6,000 US Marines, Sailors, civilians and their families and it will expand in size in the very near future. Additionally, the station employs about 10,000 Japanese military and civilians.
MCCS Iwakuni provides support services for the community, including restaurants, recreation/entertainment/shopping facilities and outreach services.
Sponsorship with MCCS does more than advertise your products or services to the community; sponsorship is a means to connect truly with our demographic and associated with an experience. Memories are created, and your brand is associated with producing those memories. Potential clients have the opportunity to interact with you during these memorable events, building trust, loyalty and lifelong advocates for your product. We have many events for sponsorship with different target audiences and objective/contents as follows.
- cultural exchange / friendship day
- cultural / memorial
- athletic events and fitness runs
- all base personnel
- single marine
- us & japanese (on & off base)
MCAS Iwakuni opens its gates for our Friendship Day Air Show to unite our host nation and U.S. forces.
The purpose of Friendship Day is to strengthen our shared community with Japan through engaging activities, American culture, family entertainment and, of course, plenty of aircraft.
More than 200K+ aircraft enthusiasts converged on the flight line May 5, 2017 for this spectacular display and stunts showcasing the raw power of aviation.
Sponsorship is a means to truly connect with your demographic.
With a circulation of 4,500, Preview magazine is a great way to introduce your company to MCAS Iwakuni.
The magazine is free and is available at all MCCS locations as well as online.
