With an indoor Olympic-sized pool operating year round and an outdoor pool open during the summer months, the Semper Fit Aquatics program has options available for all skill levels. Earn your diving certification, brush up on your basic strokes and even train to become a lifeguard.

    General Pool Guidelines

    1. All posted pool rules must be followed at all times.
    2. Patrons are to adhere to the latest MCAS COVID 19 policies.
    3. Maximum pool occupancy - 200 people.
    4. Patrons are required to check-in and check-out at the guard station for contact tracing.
    5. A face mask is required on the pool deck, but not required while in the water.
    6. Locker rooms are available for changing and showering before entering the water.
    7. Physical exercise on the pool deck is prohibited at this time.
    8. Swimming tools such as kick boards, pull buoys, and aqua joggers are available upon request.
    9. Multiple “tot-dock” platforms have been provided to allow more families to social distance, and should not be shared.
    10. The Kiddie Pool is available by reservation only. Please contact the Aquatics Office at 253-4966 or by email at [email protected] for more information.

    In accordance with III MEF/MCIPAC-MCBB Order 5101.1A, snorkel vests are required to be worn by all Active Duty, USCS & Civilian personnel during snorkeling excursions.

      General Pool Guidelines

      1. All posted pool rules must be followed at all times.
      2. Patrons are to adhere to the latest MCAS COVID 19 policies.
      3. All children over the age of 10 must present valid ID.
      4. Flotation devices must be USCG approved, and pool toys must be approved by Aquatics staff.
      5. Maximum pool occupancy - 200 people.
      6. Chairs located in designated seating areas are not permitted to be moved.
      7. Patrons must sanitize chairs after use. Cleaning products are provided.
      8. Tot-docks are limited to one family at a time.
      9. Open-air music or any personally owned electronics other than headphones is not authorized.
      10. Wearing face coverings while on the pool deck is required.

      swim lessons

      Swim lessons are currently unavailable due to social distancing.
      The Aquatics branch offers year-round instruction for all age groups and skill levels. We offer American Red Cross swimming lessons and American Red Cross Lifeguarding classes. Private swimming lessons are offered from October to April for children ages 4 to adult, and group lessons for children ages 6 months to 3 years.

      AMP-IT is currently being restructured for relaunch in 2021.
       

      unit pt

      Please call or email the Aquatics office to make your reservation at least two business days in advance. A Unit PT reservation form will be provided and must be completed, signed, and turned in to the Aquatics Office during regular office hours.

      military swim qual

      The indoor pool is available Mon-Fri for military swim qualification training and Navy PRT’s. Please call or e-mail the Aquatics Office during regular office hours to request your reservation at least two weeks in advance.

      Reef Encounters

      We have gear for rental (masks, fins, snorkels, scuba tanks, dive computers, etc.) with the ability to fill tanks for certified divers. To rent scuba gear, a dive certification must be presented.
