With an indoor Olympic-sized pool operating year round and an outdoor pool open during the summer months, the Semper Fit Aquatics program has options available for all skill levels. Earn your diving certification, brush up on your basic strokes and even train to become a lifeguard.

    General Pool Guidelines

    1. All posted pool rules must be followed at all times.
    2. Social distancing is required in and out of the pool if not from the same household.
    3. Maximum pool occupancy 100 people.
    4. Patrons are required to check-in and check-out at the guard station for contact tracing.
    5. A face mask is required on the pool deck, but not required while in the water.
    6. Locker rooms are available for changing and showering before entering the water.
    7. Physical exercise on the pool deck is prohibited at this time.
    8. Swimming tools such as kick boards, pull buoys, and aqua joggers are available upon request.
    9. Multiple “tot-dock” platforms have been provided to allow more families to social distance, and should not be shared.
    10. Kiddie Pool is available by reservation only. Contact the Aquatics Office to make a reservation

    In accordance with III MEF/MCIPAC-MCBB Order 5101.1A, snorkel vests are required to be worn by all Active Duty, USCS & Civilian personnel during snorkeling excursions.

    WaterWorks Outdoor Pool

    Waterworks pool is closed for the season.

      General Pool Guidelines

      1. All posted pool rules must be followed at all times.
      2. All children over the age of 10 must present valid ID.
      3. Flotation devices and pool toys not provided by Aquatics staff.
      4. Diving boards & slides are not available for use.
      5. Wearing face coverings while on the pool deck is required.
      6. Lockers are not available for use.
      7. Swimmers should come dressed to swim. Changing rooms not available for use.
      8. Showers not available for use.
      9. Chairs located in designated seating areas are not permitted to be moved.
      10. Patrons must sanitize chairs after use. Cleaning products will be provided.
      11. Separate entrance and exit into/out of the facility must be used.

      swim lessons

      Swim lessons are currently unavailable due to social distancing.
      The Aquatics branch offers year-round instruction for all age groups and skill levels. We offer American Red Cross swimming lessons and American Red Cross Lifeguarding classes. Private swimming lessons are offered mid-November to April for children ages 6 months to adults.

      amp-it

      AMP-IT is currently being restructured for relaunch in 2021.
       

      unit pt

      Please call to make your reservation at least two business days in advance, and turn in a completed and signed Unit PT reservation form to the Aquatics Office during regular office hours.

      military swim qual

      The indoor pool is available for military swim qualification training and Navy PRT’s. Please call to make your reservation at least one business day in advance, and turn in a completed and signed Swim Qual Pool Reservation Form to the Aquatics Office during regular office hours.

      Reef Encounters

      We have gear for rental (masks, fins, snorkels, scuba tanks, dive computers, etc.) with the ability to fill tanks for certified divers. To rent scuba gear, a dive certification must be presented.
